OK, so we are planning to be at WDW for the first time as a family this December. My kids know nothing about this, it is going to be a big old surprise for them. So I figure that we will start renting all of the Disney DVD's, and subtely get the kids familiar with all the Disney characters before we go. So last night we started with Mary Poppins. I knew my daughter (6) would like it, and sure enough she loved it. But, I wasn't so sure how my son (9) was going to like it. I figured there would probably be some parts that he would like, and others that he probably wouldn't. Boy was I wrong. He couldn't stand any of it, and he made sure to let us know throughout the whole movie just how bored he was.
He did have to watch the whole thing, and at least now he is familiar with the main characters, but if this bodes of what is to come, it will be a long year trying to prepare him for WDW.
