Mary Poppins on Broadway - any ticket luck?

Did anyone have luck with Mary Poppins tickets on Broadway?

I've been trying to get them since the Visa presale started some time ago. I'd never been able to pull up decent seats for the show, but I assumed that they were holding them over for the general sale. We were hoping for something towards the center of the orchestra, not too far back. (I have serious eye problems, and when the condition flares up, I can't see well at all.)

I tried again this morning for the public onsale, and there's NOTHING until January or so. Did this show really sell out for that long in less than three hours?

I know it's possible, I'm just somewhat surprised. Did anyone get seats in the Center Orchestra?

We got 3 tickets for the October 14th show during the Disney Visa presale. The ones we got are in the 1st row of the mezzanine level because the only seats left in the orchestra were near the back. So, the seats will be closer to the stage than the orchestra tickets would have been and being one level up will give us a better vantage point. We saw Lion King in this theater (3 times!) and if you are too far back in the orchestra section it's hard to see over the people in front of you.
