Mary Poppins at Magic Kingdom

I know that Tinker Bell flies from the castle, before the fireworks, but does Mary Poppins float down as well? My mother in-law recalls a time when Mary Poppins would float down from the castle.....does anyone eles remember this?

I think I read she did for a while at Disneyland, but that it was stopped when Disney was affraid people were trying to look up Mary's skirt.
