Question about the fit...

So I broke down and tried them on. The 7's were too small (big toe hit the front) and 8's so big I couldn't keep them on. So what gives? Am I just not crocs material?

I tried on a size 8, and they were definitely too small, but 9s felt quite loose. However, Crocs are meant to "float" around your foot, and the Mary Janes have two straps to keep them on. I think it'd be pretty difficult to walk out of a pair.

But if they're not comfortable to you, don't buy them. There are a lot of other styles that may work better for you.

I have that problem with the Beaches. The four pairs I own are pretty large looking, but they feel great once you get used to them. I usually wear them with socks when I wear pants, which makes them even more comfy. Socks with shorts or capris is a fashion no-no. :p

My MJs fit perfect though. I won't wear them to WDW, because they rub the top of my foot a little and I know that's a blister waiting to happen.

The crocs are supposed to be big on your feet. They mold and shrink to fit your feet the more you wear them. When I just got my new pair of beaches and put them next to my old(er) beaches the old ones looked 2 times smaller than my new ones. Just make sure to buy the 8 in your case! It will 'shrink' to fit you!

I actually have a pair of the Mary Janes and they fit much differently than the regular crocs. Have you tried the regular ones? I find them more comfortable than the Mary Janes, but they Mary Janes are much cuter, so I like them both for different things. If you want to buy the Mary Janes, I would recommend getting whichever size seems more comfy in the story, then take them home and wear them around the house for a day. That's when I was really able to decide if I liked the shoes or not.
