No, they are moving away from the Premiere Access model for this one to see if it boosts the box-office. If it doesn't have an impact, tehy may move back to it, but for this one and Eternals, they are going to theaters first.

I'm almost positive I saw an advertisement just yesterday saying it would be released in both venues because I thought I might pony up to watch it at home this weekend, so I think this is a change of plans.

No, this one was always a theater release. It'll be on Disney+ October 18.

For anyone interested, I just saw Shang Chi and it's great - another home run! It's fast-paced and funnier than you might expect. I really enjoyed it and, of course, stay until the end.
