Martini Tasting- Reviews or comments

hi....if my DF does not want to do the martini tasting is there a place that we can get something like a "martini flight" where i could still sample several martinis and DF could just get another drink? :confused3

TIA! :flower3:

Recipe for Choc Martini:

First, coat the martini glass with melted chocolate like Nutella.

Then, mix together in a Martini shaker with ice:

1/2 oz Absolut Vanilla
1/2 oz Bailey's
1/2 oz Franjelico
1/2 oz Godiva

It is wonderful.... Enjoy..

Too funny . . . that's different than the recipe I got in the tasting!! I guess it depends on who is leading it. Here's the recipe I have:

Start by swirling chocolate syrup (like Hershey's) around the inside of the glass. Then add the following to an ice-filled shaker:

--- 1 oz Absolut Vanilla
--- 1/2 oz Baileys (we used regular Bailey's, but he said to try it with Carmel Bailey's too - which I did at home and I really like it!!)
--- 1/2 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liquor
--- 1/2 oz Godiva Dark Chocolate Liquor
--- splash of ice cream mix (this is the liquid they use in soft serve machine - he suggested using half and half at home)

Shake and pour.

Yes, we've done martini and tequila flights in Diversions on the Wonder. The price was around $12-15. I believe you got small sized versions of about 5-6 martinis and/or tequila drinks, including a straight shot. They both were good. :thumbsup2

thanks for the recipe! i thought they put hershey's syrup inside the glass!
They do but our Martini person said that it isn't really good chocolate. Better to go with something that is better tasting and not overpowering with sugar.

ourdogcisco, thanks! also, what kind of godiva because isn't there more than one flavor?

on the aug 10 mexico cruise, it only listed 4 ingredients & no ice cream mix but i forgot to take the paper home! thanks for all of your help!

Oh boy - more recipes to try! The one I got was different yet! They called in a Toberlone Martini.

1 oz Godiva (either white or dark)
3/4 oz Franjelico
1 oz Baileys
1 oz Kahlua
1/4 oz honey (they swirled it in the glass - did not mix it in - but I prefer to omit it)

It's not a type - this one doesn't have vodka.
