Martini Tasting Anyone?

Hi All,
I do believe I had read somewhere that the 4 Day Wonder Cruise offers Martini Tasting ... anyone done this? Sounds Devilishly Delicious! And heck, *WE aren't the ones driving! LOL
Can this be booked ahead of time? When does this usually happen? How many different types of Martinis are served? Sorry for all the questions ... I am just so excited!

My family and another family always do the DCL cruise thing together and last year the wives went to this. They had a great time.

The martini tasting is $15 a person and you can purchase tickets at Guest Services once you are on board. The tickets can not be purchased pre-cruise. They are held on at sea days on the 7-night cruises.

Gin martini
Dirty gin martini
Appletini
Chocolate
Cosmopolitan

Instead of chocolate and Cosmopolitan, we had
Passiotfruitini YUM
expressotini, which I needed to stay awake after all of those martini, they also jhad made way too many martini, and at the end of the testing gave them away to people who answered questions, that was a lot of fun.

Yes, when we did ours in December, only one (out of 5) was made with Gin. This is to demonstrate that the only "true" martinis are made with Gin. At least that's what Grant told us.

not to sound like a lush or anything. . .but are they full size--5 martini's would kill me--or are they like the small ones you can get at houlihan's (they serve a 3 pack--of baby martinis. wish they did the banana foster one or some other fufu ones (key lime, mint chocolate, etc--instead of the gin ones!)

I tried my first martini last night at a martini bar and it was chocolate strawberry....oh my was it sweet and strong.
Not sure if I would like the gin ones though.

That would be called a margarita served "up" (shaken then strained). One of our local hangouts serves a cadillac martini 'up' in a martini glass with ice and lime on the side. Just learned of that version this week - after all that time we could have been enjoying them!
