Martha's Vineyard Lounge query..

Just been spending some time perusing the menus on AllEarsNet (I promise, just because my trip is m o n t h s away, it doesn't mean that i have a problem!!), and I have a quick query that I am sure you lovely people will be able to help me with..

What exactly are the 'Wine Flights' available at the Beach Club's Martha's Vineyard Lounge?

Never had them there specifically, but generally "wine flights" are tastings of 3 - 4 wines at a time. Generally, it's less than a full glass of each wine and the wines are (or should be) somewhat related to each other. The purpose of tasting them together is to see how the same grape (such as cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay) can result in different tasting wines. Wine flights can also be done with the same wine from the same winery over several different vintages, so you can see the effect that different growing seasons have on the flavor of a particular wine.

Madalex nailed it. You'll like Martha's Vineyard. It's a bit out of the way, located between the Yacht and Beach Club intersection, and I've never seen it packed.

Thanks guys! While wine-tasting is big news in France, 'wine flights' wasn't terminology I had ever encountered before. I love the disboards, not only have I learnt tons about the wonderful world of Disney, I'm also improving my vocabulary!!
