Mars 2112

Yep, the company I used to work for hosted their holiday party one year at Mars 2112. It was a good time with a great, fun atmosphere but the food was pretty standard, nothing spectacular. What did you want to know?

We've been there twice. Like Rick said, fun time, food is nothing to write home about though. You get plenty of time with the martians.

We went in April with our kids, 15, 13, and 11. It was kind of fun, altho we compared it to Disney's themed restaurants (can't help it!). Everyone is right on about the food...it was "ok".

I think we had one here in the Chicago area (seems familiar), but never heard any more about it after it opened a few years ago. I think it is gone now. I did like the sound effects on the mouseovers. :)

There was one at Woodfield Shopping Center. It closed after September 11th. My son loved it, both here and in NY, but it's not the kind of place I'd go without kids.

I'll echo what everyone said. It's a bit pricey for the quality of food, but then again it is NYC. The kids, however, will love the atmostphere.

Oh good, I am not senile. :) I thought I recalled that place. I think Natalie went there once.

We are taking our 4 and 6 year old there when we go back to NYC in October. The food is soso but my kids will be entertained so at least i'll be able to enjoy it! I remember last time I was there I had some sweet potatos that were really good.

I've been there a few times, and it is a fun place to go. Kids would love it. As everyone says, the food isn't the best. When I go to places like that, I tend to stick with safe bets like burgers and salads.

Yo Antnee..we go all the time…we take the ferry over to NYC...and kids and I love the place.

Like others have said the food is so-so but who cares you are eating on/in the planet Mars. The space ship ride to get there is great..(a mini WDW Star Tours).

Have fun!

The atmosphere is really neat. My friends and I all went there for a HUGE all-night Halloween party last year. No food was served, but the drinks were yummy.
