Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve

Has anyone been to Marriott's Lake shore Reserve-with Marriott Vacation Club?

I am trying to decide if we should try it. We have gone to Marriott's Cypress Harbour resort and the kids love it. For some reason the Lakeshore Reserve property seems very large.

Any experiences or opinions are appreciated.

We were hoping to stay here during our trip to FL in Sept. but they didn't have any 2 bedrooms available. We are staying at the Marriott Grande Vista which we stayed at a few years ago (also b/c there weren't any 2 bdrm. avail.) The Grande Vista was nice and the kids enjoyed all of the activities they offered. We only stay for 2-3 nights before our Disney stay. Good luck, I hope you enjoy it.

(On another note, we lived in Blauvelt for a few yrs. and still have family there)

Lakeshore Reserve is actually a fairly small resort. There is lots of land there for building, but there are currently only four main buildings/sections built.

The resort is gorgeous, though kids may get a little bored at the resort itself. They have activities but there are not a lot of units, so there may not be a lot of participation. Obviously access to the JW is great.
