We are going to Orlando on November, anyone know what I can expect the wether to be like? I am SOOOOOOOOO excited. Of course, my kids are too. I just booked two three bedroom villas at the Marriott Imperial Villas. I am so excited. I hope it is a nice place. I traded my timeshare in Cancun to stay at this place. I am excited about going, I don't know why I have put it off for so long. We have 15 people going and need a lot of space. My dad was recently diagnosed with a "terminal" brain tumor, he is doing well, and wanted to makesure we all took a trip to Orlando sooner than later.
I am new to this board and would love any input on the Marriott & advice??

Hi Monique -

First, while I don't have any knowledge of this place, I really don't think you can go wrong with a name like Marriott. Someone will come along to give more info I'm sure.

Secondly - just wanted to say I'm sorry about your dad and hope you all have a very wonderful and memorable trip :D

Marriott Imperial Palm Villas shares common grounds with Marriott Orlando World Center. So besides the spacious villas and quiet pool area, you may take a free shuttle (or a long walk) to the MOWC to enjoy their gorgeous pools (one with waterfall and pool slide), restaurants, shops, indoor pool, etc. There are several pools at MOWC, at different water temperatures. Most are heated. Look through old threads for info about MOWC for more details. Take the kids for a ride up the glass elevators for a nice view of the region.

I have not stayed at these villas myself, but reviews of the villas are generally very favorable. I have seen the grounds at MOWC - beautiful! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay.

November weather can vary. At Thanksgiving, we've enjoyed some days in the 80's - fun for swimming, especially in heated pools. Other days can be much cooler or rainy, though we haven't had a real problem with that.

May the Lord be with your family and especially your father as he faces his illness. Blessings for a wonderful trip together!

yes this is a very nice resort - not many of its members trade out - always a good sign.

You are very close to WDw property - just stay on the 535 - it turns into World Drive.

bring lots of money - WDW is expensive! are you planning on using Marriott transportation or are you renting vans??

if you are using Marriott transportation - you might think again - I think they charge for it - call and ask before you make definite plans - but rentals cars in Orlando can be pretty cheap.
