Marriott's Cypress Harbour?

Cypress Harbour is a great resort with a nice activity schedule, several pools, IMHO a very relaxed atmosphere that offsets hectic nature of the theme parks nicely. You should enjoy the experience at this resort.

Will you be sharing a single villa? Three bedroom or two?

If you care about where your villa is located within the resort be sure to call a week in advance with a request. While they aren't always able to satisfy requests they do make an effort. So if you need ground floor or want a high floor with a lake view or want to be near one of the pool areas you should let them know and mention your request again when you are checking in.

Have fun!

We've stayed there twice. I am pretty sure they are all 2 bedroom/2 bath. Might be a little tight for 8 of you unless the kids are small. There is one big bedroom, but the second is a small room off the front door area. I think it has a queen and a pullout sofa and when the sofa is out, you can't walk around. There is also a sofabed in the living room. Back to your question. It is a great resort, lovely pools and a nice atmosphere. We requested the building right near the reception desk and I am glad we did. It was centrally located near the pool, grocery store and pizza hut and near all the activities. These sections are also newly redecorated. If you can get a corner unit, even better, as these have more windows.

yep kids are very small 3 boys 5, 7 and 7 and 1 girl 11..

we all get along ....
trying to find a map of the place no luck so far!

If you call the resort they should be able to either fax or mail a resort map to you. I can't remember seeing one anywhere online (I've seen some architectural drawings that represent the resort but those are without building number designations).

The resort does have three bedroom units that sleep 12, but your 2 bedroom unit will handle up to eight people. tortoni is correct that the large master bedroom has a king bed. The second bedrooms generally have a queen bed and a queen sofabed. There is a queen sofabed in the livingrooom.
