Marriott World Center and Hurricane Charley

We are leaving Friday for Orlando and have a reservation at the World Center for Friday night. Anyone know if everything there is ok after the hurricane? It's a pretty tall building, so I'm guessing they probably had some damage.

I just spoke to someone at the hotel and she said they were ok. A few trees down, but no major damage to the hotel. I have to believe her, but if anyone has any first-hand knowledge, I'd sure appreciate hearing about it.

I am pretty sure you will be fine.

None of the Disney resorts were hurt - few trees on a couple of building - but that was not and quickly removed.

I would think the Marriott might have some blown out windows- but I haven't heard of any.
