Marriott Timeshare Questions

I was intrigued by a recent post regarding Marriott Horizons, and I wondered if anyone can expain how Marriott timeshares "work" Do you buy points (like DVC & FF) or actual weeks, either fixed or floating? Can anyone point my to a good resource for learning more, and perhaps a good site to look for resales? Thanks!

Marriott is a little different that DVC - it does make a difference who you buy from. Marriott knows also sells resale or well as developer....

the different between Marriott resale and other resale - is the price will be higher plus you get their version of points. these points you can use at their hotels - and you know how many hotels marriott has in the WORLD....

Is it possible to rent points/weeks like you can with DVC?
