Wondering if anyone has specific experience with the shuttle at this hotel as of recent. The price is right but I don't want to be wasting valuable disney time waiting for a shuttle as we like to go back for a mid-day snooze! TIA!

i was wondering the same thing because i will be checking in there soon. it is my understanding that there is an art bus stop by joes crab shack and a five day pass for art is 20 bucks and i know that i have never had to wait that long for art plus i believe we are bus stop number one which drops off the closest to the park at DL. I stayed at the crown plaza 2 years back and our stop at DL was almost next to the street past the cast member shuttle and i know that the marriott shuttle was next to ours. Needless to say it wasn't worth the long walk and the shuttle is much smaller than the art bus and i remember holding strollers for other people on the shuttle on the way back to the hotel.

It was time consuming. The bus also filled up real quick and people were left waiting for the next bus. Its not bad but expect to wait around a while. Most hotel buses are like this as well but the ART busses seemed to be more crowded. All the seats were full and people were packed together standing in the aisles and leaning on you if you were seated.

But on one day the bus did not show up for an hour so we just walked. My info is about 1.5 years old though so maybe things have changed. Or maybe it was just crazy crowded for the few days I was there. We did not go back for another stay there so I can't say. Since then we always stay at hotels that have their own bus or at hotels within a reasonable walking distance.

Its appears from current yelp.com reviews that the ART is still hit or miss.
