Marriott Grande Vista

Has anyone stayed here recently? I'm looking for a place to stay w/10 people next year and this is an option b/c it can house a larger group of people than one hotel room.

We stayed there this past April and LOVED this resort!!! We had a 2br unit which is actually a 1 BR villa with a lockoff 1 BR studio. We had so much room. 1 full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a small fridge & microwave in the studio, washer and dryer and plenty of living space and 3 tv sets. No stereo though.

You will not be dissappointed if you choose this place.

stayed here twice - once in a studio then again in a 1-bedroom - loved it = very nice - reminds me of OKW.

they have a shuttle that goes to the park - they charged timeshares a daily charge - but I don't know if they charge guests that are not exchanging.

My parents own at Marriott's Grande Vista. They took us down in May 2002. We loved it there. We were in a three bedroom which had a bedroom with two queen beds, a master bedroom with one king bed (and a whirlpool tub), and a "lock-off" room with two beds. I believe that the sofa could also become a bed, but we didn't need that option. We had two balconies overlooking the golf course.

The drive to the parks was generally easy.

Well, my MIL wants to plan a trip with around 12 of us next year, so i'm trying to think of options of where to stay.

My co-worker stays there and says it's very nice.

How do you book these? Sat - Sat? Through a TA?

it is a Timeshare Users Group. People who own timeshares rent them out, that's how we were able to book it.

Go the Marriott website: www.marriott.com. Register for Marriott Rewards and search the specials section for discounts. We are going back for our fourth stay and have always booked through Marriott.

We'll be at Grande Vista next week, we have owned at this resort since 98. We love it there!!!
