Anyone have a preference between these two resorts? We are a family of 5 with 4yr old twins and a 7yr old. Thanks!

My personal favorite between the two is Cypress Harbour. I just like the feel of Cypress Harbour better. But if you ask my sister the same question, she'll pick Grande Vista. Check out the pictures and reviews on trip advisor, too.

If we travel with younger kids who like to swim/water, we usually pick Marriott's Harbour Lake (used to be called Horizons). It's directly across the street from Cypress Harbour.

I love Cypress Harbor but hate the second bedroom set-up. It's a full size bed with a pull out hideabed and the whole room seems cramped and awkward to maneuver around when the bed is open. Also, the last time we stayed there we had a location way in the back of the resort which changed the whole feel to me--- to the negative. Not close to a pool, no lake view. Just didn't like it as much.

Stayed at Grand Vista last year right at the pool. Beautiful condo and the kids loved that the second bedroom was a lock out type with their own fridge, mini living room etc. (of course, your kids are younger so probably won't matter)

Lots of activities at both. Good luck...... there probably is no wrong choice...

I am biased since we own at Grande Vista. If you need two beds in the second bedroom go for Grande Vista and ask for a dedicated two bedroom unit, it will have two queen beds in the second bedroom.
