Anyone receive this offer? 5 days 4 nights $199.......what is their presentation like? Are they high pressure or more like DVC??? thanks

not high pressure at all - this is a nice resort - just be sure to request the rehab units. the others aren't worth it.

I have done it in the past and they are quiet pleasant to deal with. Just inform them when you are there that you own DVC and they will be professional about it.

Have fun it is a nice place for the cheap price. Much closer to Universal.

We did it last November. They are very low pressure. spiceycat is right--ask for a rehab unit. We were in one of the old units and our bathroom was quite sad. Then, during the presentation we saw one of the new units and it was beautiful.

Driving back and forth to Disney was a hassle, though. Sea World is very close and we had a great time there (I have 2 DSs - 2&3).

Yes, we own a week in the NEW section, which is beautiful. Three BR. The older section is being totally rehabbed.

I attended a presentation at Thanksgiving. It is similiar to DVC in that there is no pressure. They do there best to sell you a timeshare. The resort is very nice and I would stay there again. However, I own at cypress harbour, which I enjoyed a little better.

I think we received a couple of passes to Seaworld.

Enjoy!

You have to be careful with these offers. Most of them allow Marriott to put you in a hotel nearby and do not guarantee staying at the resort itself. Not much of an issue at GV but really an issue at many of the top Marriott's like Aruba, Newport Coast and HI.
