Got a deal from Marriott Grand Vista 4 nights 199.00 I am guessing it is a single room and we need to do the tour. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed in the one bedroom. I will be going with my husband and 16 year old son and he likes to have his own room but for the price I am thinking of doing 4 days here. Is it worth it? I tried the search function but could not get in.

We haven't been to Grande Vista yet...will be there in June.

You can check out the resort at www.vacationclub.com

Click on the resort link then look for Grande Vista. At the botton of the resort information page you'll find floor plans.

From the reviews I've seen on TUG...it is a great resort.

I do suspect the rate you got does include a timeshare tour. Marriott has a great product...we own at 2 resorts. But remember, if interested, you can always buy resale.

the 1-bedroom is generally alot more here - but since you are getting a deal - ask.

I have stayed here - one of my favorites

the studio has a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa.

the bathroom is hotel size.

In the a 1-bedroom again king bed and a queen sleeper sofa.

the bathroom is like other Marriott - in the master bedroom is part of it - whirlpool tub and a couple of sinks - in the other is everything else plus shower.

the 1-bedroom has a full kitchen and a dining room/

the studio has a under-the-counter refrigerator and microwave -

both places have real plates (DVC only has paper ones)

they also both have a very nice patio/balcony - DVC has a much smaller size one for its studios - the Marriott have the same in their studio as their one bedroom - it is screened in so breakfast or dinner is fine here.

If I remember it is big enough that if your son bring his sleeping bag - he should probably be able to sleep out there.

I got that offer in the mail as well, but they were sold out for almost the whole spring. We're staying at the Renaissance and taking the tour that way.

We're going March 12th - 16th. Apparently Feb, March and April are booked solid so we'll be at the Renaissance Sea World but we have the tour scheduled for Monday the 15th.
