Very excited...just booked my vacation and will be staying at the Marriott Cypress Harbour. Just looking for some positive :D feedback on the property as I have never stayed there before. I have a 2 bedroom villa.
Also does anyone know the average temps for late February?

Thanks :cool1:

this is a popular resort with the Marriott owners - so it is probably the best in Orlando.

We have stayed at many of the Timeshare resorts in Orlando. We stayed at the Marriott Cypress harbor last year and all my kids loved it, so much so that we are going back again this year. Sounds like we might be there at the same time. I'll be there for 6 days from 2/20 - 2/25. We always travel in late Feb and the temps are usually very nice. You may get a cold day or a rainy day here or there but we usually find sunny seventy degree days and a few eighties as well.

I've been trying to do a trade through II for our trip in March and I'm not having much luck so far. Can you guys post the web sites your using to get book these timeshares?

Thanks
Jenn

if you are talking about this March - you are too late....

most of March has been gone for a while.

what days are you looking for?

there is a Disney's OKW efficiency (studio) for March 12 - 19 - can you get it?

Hi Spiceycat,

Yes, I saw the Disney OKW but we need a 2 bedroom. Every year I make a trade within the 60 days with no problems. We usually go Daytona / Presidents week which is an extremely busy week. I've never had any problems securing a flexchange. A few days ago there was lots of availability every night. I was just researching the various resorts to figure out which one I wanted. Well, the minute I decided there was no longer availability. I've been checking constantly, so I may have to pay out of pocket to rent. I've been casually looking on ebay and when I get within the 45 day window, I can check Tugs last minute rentals. I thought I could put a search in with II but I guess I can't do that within the 60 day window.

Anyway!! I know there are some decent rentals websites and I was hoping someone could post. Our dates our for the 11th or 12th of March.

could you go to Williamsburg, VA instead they still have some nice ones - the Marriott Manor Club.

I am surprise - since I posted - not only is most of Orlando gone - Hilton Head, South Carolina is completely gone, too. and I think there was some in Dayton, Florida.

Sorry I couldn't help.

for timeshares

www.skyauction.com
or ii
www.condodirect.com - but there is nothing here.

for houses/condo's

www.vrbo.com

if you can't find anything here - send me a pm - I have a bunch of sites.

Thanks spiceycat. Yes, it's unbelieveable how quickly things disappear. Seconds after hitting the screen. We are doing a Disney Cruise for a week so this second week is an add-on to that. So, we're pretty limited to that area.

My parents own a 2 br w/lock out at Cypress Harbor. We stayed there last year and everything was great. You'll have a great trip!

I own a Hyatt timeshare in Key West.. if you're looking to rent a timeshare anywhere, check out www.tug2.net or www.bidshares.com. I am a member of TUG (Timeshare Users Group) and my in laws rented a unit at another Marriott property in Orlando last summer through tug, didn't have any problems.
