Which would you stay at for 2 nights? (until we move to a timeshare for the week). Courtyard at Marriott Village? Or Courtyard Vista?

Thanks!

Having stayed at both.

Courtyard Marriott Village is nicer and newer. I think Courtyard Vista has a better location to get to Disney. (Village has a great location for going to the outlets.... decisions decsions.....)

If the price was the same I would probably pick the Village location.

We're actually not going to the park till later in the week. We're moving over to a timeshare with friends on saturday. Getting in late thursday. So, those few days are just for time to kill. Kind of wanting a good place to just hang out around the pool and relax. having said that...would you then recommend going to the Village?

The pictures look so great. But when you see the reviews and see "candid photos" people submit, it suddenly doesn't look so great. But then a 9 and 7 year old don't need much. Just a pool to swim in. If it rains, would probably drive over Disney Marketplace.

I liked the Fairfield at Marriott Village just fine. Stayed there on either end of a WDW trip. A couple of years ago they had something like a $55 Magicard rate. Very convenient to WDW, and close to the malls and a short drive to 192.

We stayed at the village one a few years ago and i would recommend it. The pool area was nice and it was hard to believe that I4 was so nearby. The hotel doesn't back up to the interstate so you will be fine with that. There are several places to eat within close distance. And the outlet mall is just around the corner. Also the pool was zero entry in case you have young ones. I would pick the village over the other one for sure.

I have just booked here for Easter, crazy prices this Easter.
Staying for 14 nights
Marriott wanted $2,855:lmao:
Booked it here in UK for $1,019 :thumbsup2

The pool is nicest at the Courtyard Village. It has a tropical resort feel, small water feature, is part indoor and part outdoor. There are also tables and palm tress around. You can get a pizza from the food court and eat in the pool area---that's what we did with friends one night. Ask for a room with a balcony that overlooks the pool area if available.

SpringHill Suites and Fairfield are in the same village---those rooms include a free breakfast each morning. You can pool hop between the three hotels, but the nicest pool is still the Courtyard's.

At the Courtyard on Palm (I think this is the one you refer to) we were able to get a suite room for the same price as a regular room at the other Courtyard. As Carol said this property is older but I believe the rooms have been recently renovated. The 1 b/r suite we had was very nice sized. The pool area is bigger, but not necessarily luxurious.

Another Marriott property I really like is the Residence Inn on Palm Parkway (same street as the Palm Courtyard, basically). Great pool area, plus free hot breakfast in the morning and complimentary goodies are put out most evenings (M-TH). We had a room there where we could see the Disney fireworks each night. You might want to price out a room, or maybe get a 2 b/r, 2 bath suite room (also has separate living room area w/ kitchen) and split the cost with your friends.

In this case I would go with the Village Just more to do and more activity plus it's a little nicer for just hanging around.

Thanks everyone. We've booked for courtyard at the village. 2 certificates giving me both nights free. Now if I can just get a better rate on a car!
