Just got the Marriott at Orlando Airport for 65/a night on priceline for March 30th. I am thinking that is a good price since it is spring break/peak season.

Anyway, for those that have stayed there, how was it? Any suggestions. Are there nearby places to eat or just the hotel dining?

Thanks!!!

It's a nice hotel. I got in late and left early, but I stay at Marriotts a lot and this one was pretty much as expected. The shuttle from and to the airport was good. I called from baggage claim just to make sure they knew to look for me so I don't know if there is a schedule (There is a phone in baggage claim and you hit the button for the Marriott and it connects you)

I know that there is food near there, but I am not sure if it's really in walking distance. I want to say there is Denny's very close. Friday's is across the street, but it's a VERY BIG and BUSY street!

That is a GREAT price. I stayed there last night, corporate rate was $109 plus all the taxes.

I did not see much in the way of food options. The hotel restaurants were good but pretty pricey.

Hi There~

Congrat's on your win. You really got a great price.

My DD11 & I stayed there last Nov. We flew into MCO, & arrived around 6pm. We called for the Marriott shuttle bus & they picked us up in about 10 minutes, it took about 7 minutes to get to the hotel.

There are lot's of restaurants close by. I would say it is about a 10 minute walk. You could ask the desk to have the bus drop you off, & then walk back.

After dinner DD, wanted to go swimming. Great pool. She had a blast.

I loved the room, very clean. They actually gave out, Bath & Body Works :thumbsup2 products in our room. Inside our room was a coffee machine.

The following morn, I needed to pick up my rent a car at Hertz, which happened to be across the street, near the resturants. The bus driver was kind enough to drop me off there.

I loved the Hotel, the location, & the friendliness, of the staff.

What I didn't like, the rent a movie in your room, the price was $17.00 per movie. Needlessly, I passed on the movie.

I would stay there again, in a heart beat. :sunny:

Hope this helps

Patricia

Are family restaurants (including Denny's) and food take-out facilities within easy walking distance of the hotel?

Hi

DD11 & I stayed there last Nov. The resturants are about a 10 to 15 minute walk. You can ask the front desk to have the Marriott shuttle drop you off at Denny's (since it is on the way to the airport) & then walk back.

There are several resturants in the area. Great hotel, & great location, plus you got a great price.

Have fun

Patricia
