Married at First Sight

I read on another site from a production worker (no longer with the show) for the show that they rushed season 2 out because 1 was such a hit.
He/she says they didn't vet these guys at all. In fact one was chosen from Match.com. If this is true shame on these 4 professionals for doing this, all they have done is tarnish their own records.
If they did the same thing with season 3, it shouldn't even air.

As far as Jessica, this person said they asked her not to get the restraining order and they placed a body guard on her. She complied because they told if she did, they would help her to get an annulment instead of divorce. He/she said the contract stated that no annulments would be given they had to get divorced. But after the threats came out against her family and the 6 month later show aired she got the order of protection.

If this is true all 3 women showed sue this show and get annulments, they didn't sign up for a scam. The thought the show was genuine.
Shame on these people and network.

There is a story on Nypost.com, omg he threatened her while his mic was live and he was off stage, during taping of 6 month later show.
This is scary. This guy is a nut job .
She has a good lawyer thank God

This was such a letdown just watching, I can't imagine being the participants. I really thought Jacyln & Ryan we're going to make, be the Jamie & Doug of this season.

Thanks for reminding me why I no longer watch 75% of the reality tv I used to. And yes, I know it was a "reality" show (and I know that means scripted reality) but to hear these people weren't even matched and the girls didn't know it at the time makes me sad. I feel badly for Jessica, if that was the editing job they did on Ryan D I'd hate to see what he really acted like!

Last night when asked why he did the show Sean said my brother is friend's with Doug and I saw his happiness. Made me think they might not have vetted him properly since he was a "friend of a friend".

And Ryan (wtih Jess) has serious issues that should've come out. I mean, you can only hide so much. And last night when he said the $100 was from the ATM not the wedding money... I had to think, most ATM's give only 20's though I've seen some with 10's, not sure I've ever gotten a 100 dollar bill from one, is that possible?

It depends upon the atm and where it is. I have seen some that will dispense 10s and 20s. But I've seen some in touristy areas of various cities that give 100s. I'm not a fan of the ones that give 100s. It's fine if you're going to use it at a Vegas casino or a high end NY restaurant. But what if you need it for the gas money for the drive back home or something? You're going to have to break it somewhere first. Although I guess that is the intent.

Ugh, I feel cheated watching this show. Now it looks like the guys weren't vetted and these poor women walked into a complete nightmare. It sounds like the 3 of them have a real, lasting friendship so that's something. I don't believe for a minute that the guys are 'tight' like Douche-Ryan said they were. What a piece of filth.

Thanks. I can see it being ok in NYC or Vegas and such but it would not be helpful to me in my day to day to get a 100 dollar bill...the Burger King drive thru won't take them. lol

I feel like the guys in season 1 really wanted to be married, and these season 2 guys just didn't want it. Though I do think that Sean thought he wanted to be married, but really wasn't ready. Especially after he said his former significant other had a miscarriage not to long before the show, like 6-9 months?

I thought the premise would be that this type of marriage would have more lasting power with the experts doing all the research, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I think if Ryan and Jaclyn could make it then need to forget the marraige stuff and just date. I can see they both care deeply for each other still.

Oh I totally think Sean was wrong to say he'd move & then didn't want to. He also had a very mobile career as a RN, he'd just need to apply for a NY license I'd imagine. Like I said before, I think he really wanted to be married, but just wasn't ready yet. I also think he was moving up at his current hospital & didn't want to start over. I was also shocked to find they only spent like 10-12 days together over 6wks, no wonder they weren't sleeping together!! I wonder if these 10-12 days included the week honeymoon?

I don't think she should've moved at all. Especially with Sean having a very mobile career. RNs are in high demand everywhere. Plus the fact he agreed to it
