Ok, another warning. This is going to be a Nick rant. What. A. Jerk. There is no way that I would have accepted his "apology". It was not an apology! He gave the "I'm sorry if you think I said something that upset you." apology. The fact that he cannot own up to what he said and did shows his character, or rather, his lack of it. Not only that, but when he talked to Pastor Calvin, he completely downplayed what he said. He skirted around what he said, and blamed Sonia, saying "all she heard was, I'm not attracted to you." Yeah, you know why she heard it? Because he said it. Then, Nick said he was annoyed because she took her wedding ring off. If he did that to me, he would be lucky that wedding ring wasn't embedded somewhere the sun doesn't shine on him. He thinks she should just move back in right away. I cannot blame her for not wanting to, especially since she didn't get a sincere and heartfelt apology. I am also annoyed with that pastor for letting him get away with that lame apology that showed no accountability. I could go on, but I won't. Ok, I will say one more thing. Why does he keep saying that marriage shouldn't have to be work. What the heck is he smoking? Idk who ever gave him that idea. He's delusional.

Tom and Lilly. I don't know what the heck is going on with those two. One minuted he says he wants to have commitment and be married, but he made it sound like he broke up with his last girlfriend because he didn't want to be committed. But then he says he doesn't want to talk about things in the future. He makes my head spin. And meanwhile, Lilly, starts projecting her fear about her father leaving on Tom because his lack of wanting to discuss future plans, triggers that insecurity.

Heather and Derrick, meh. I kinda just don't even care what happens with those two.

My thing was him saying that they could work on their friendship..... Ugh you idiot, you're a month in friendship should be there already, you're suppose to be working on the LOVE part.
The one and only thing he did to save a little bit of face was not to mention about them being intimate, he says he was trying to not put it out there until she was ready to do so.

Someone needs to call Nick out. He is blaming her for things and saying she isn't committed to the process, but if he truly cares, he will do some pursuing.

I haven't watched last night's episode yet. But I'm actually pretty bored with this season.

Well not sure if they stay together or not. Thought it was funny though when they said Sonia was back at her place and didn't move back in with him but she got out of his bed and was in his bathroom. That is the first thing I said to my daughter that isn't her bed. She sure is afraid of the dogs anymore either. That was really awkward with her father talking to them too. I noticed she had her ring back on then unless it was shown to us out of order.

Heather sure didn't like the straight forward talk her friend gave her, but she said what we all seen her to be.

Tom and Lillian ...I don't know he listens to her but she doesn't do the same back. His mother did say he was needy and needs a lot of attention though. Can't wait to see them back on the bus next week.

Last week was telling. I predict at least Sonia and Nick break up. I think Tom and Lillian will say they are staying together at the end but I predict they don't actually last long term.

I think Sonia and Nick might be like that couple from last season where she decides she wants to try and he says he's done.

I agree with Tom and Lillian. That bus trip really highlighted how different they are.

I think Nick and Sonia might stay together, but not sure, though. I think Tom and Lillian will initially stay together, but I doubt it will last. They are VERY different. Maybe too different.

I just don't think that Sonia and Nick will stay together. I am not sure she will ever be able to get passed all that Nick spewed forth that night, and honestly, I don't think I could, either. I don't think I could trust him after that, or want to be with him physically after that. She had already had her doubts that he was attracted to her from day one, and then he went and screamed it to the world that he wasn't and would never be. There are just some things you cannot take back.

As far as Tom and Lily, I agree, chances are they will say they are going to stay together, but I'm not sure if they will make it. If they don't stay married, I think it will be Tom that says he doesn't want to. I think he thinks she is too materialistic because she doesn't want to live in the bus. Also, that whole kid thing, and him not knowing about whether he wants them or not. I mean what the heck? Didn't the experts find out whether they were both on the same page about kids? Different views about whether or not to have children, is a deal breaker, usually. I never wanted children, and let my ex husband know, it wasn't going to happen and if he wanted that, not to get married to me. If Tom went into the experiment saying he was open to having kids, he sure doesn't seem that way now. They do need to wait a few years before having them though.

I agree on the "what the heck" on the kid thing. That's really important and much harder to compromise than many other issues in life.

I think Nick didn't realize how good he had it with her until she left him. Now he wants her back. She did put her ring back on so who really knows what will happen with these two. It is a telling sign though if she will not move back in with him. Not sure what happened the day he yelled all those things at her , felt really sorry for her. He kept saying you should have to work at a marriage too...wrong especially if you don't know the other person.

I don't think Tom and Lilly will make it either. Tom's mom did say he needs to be the center of attention. I would not live on that bus either. She has way different goals then she has. She wants to settle down with kids he wants to travel the world.

Sonia is done IMO. She checked out the night of the fight and I think she's just going through the motions for the sake of saying she didn't give up on the experiment. I think she's a sweet lady but she annoys the heck out of me. She speaks in a childish tone and seems to turn most sentences into a question in how she says it. I hope she has a different persona at work because I would struggle to take her seriously as a social worker.

I think Sonia and Nick may try to give it a go simply because the both SAY that they went in thinking marriage is forever.

I don't think Tom and Lillian will make it because Tom doesn't seem to have that attitude.

I was sure Lillian and Tom would go the distance, but not anymore.
They are starting to really show their differences now.
Nope that bus would be a deal breaker for me, its not even in good condition, its a mess inside.
If you see her at her apt. before the wedding, it was no where near materialistic, it was a basic small apt. nothing wrong with it at all, just not over the top materialistic at all.
He needs to get over himself and being a minimalist.

I kinda think Lillian and Tom were putting on a act on their "road trip". Everything from her response to the bus trip to the conversation about holistic medicine seemed very staged.
I think they are cute together and can see them going the distance.

I want to like Sonia and Nick, I wish he would wake the heck up and display some type of emotion. That would be very draining on me in a relationship if I had to deal with him.

Anyone watch the Decision Day episode last night? I was surprised that both couples stayed together. I'm curious to see what happens in the next episode, which is 6 months later, I think. I don't see either couple working out long-term.

Tom is Peter Pan. He doesn't want to grow up. He wants to play most of the time and have a wife who will fawn over him constantly. I predict this marriage fails. I can't say how long it will take Lillian to wake up and realize she's the only adult in the relationship, but she needs to face reality. He's not eager for kids because THEY become the needy ones who require constant attention, and that's his role. Finally, Lillian isn't materialistic or obsessed with her job. She's NORMAL. He's the weird one. Did he ever work during the six weeks?
