Married at DW without using DWW? Possible?

Hi! My fiance and I want to get married at DW but can't afford the fees for the DW venues. We will be bringing his 2 children (5&7) and also his niece & nephew so our budget is all about travelling with family and paying for the accomidations.
Is it possible to bring a minister into DW and have a wedding with just the 6 of us? Something small & intimate. We would rather not do the Dolphin & Swan.
I have even considered renting one of the pontoon boats and having the ceremony onboard if I can find a minister that will do that.
Any ideas or help are appreciated.

Short Answer: No.
Skirting DFTW and trying to hold a ceremony there can get you kicked out of the Resort. I know I have read a few threads here on the Dis regarding this subject. The other options are Swan& Dolphin, and some of the non Disney hotels(Hilton) near DTD may have wedding packages. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.

Disney really frowns upon having anything resembling a wedding without going through Disney Fairy Tale Weddings. You could risk being asked to leave if you're caught.

I'm afraid I've heard the same, Disney have a total ban on "unofficial" weddings on their property. I know it's still not really the disney wedding you want but Royal Plaza at downtown disney do some very affordable packages starting from $900. You could always follow it up with a nice meal in your wedding attire at one of the disney resort restaurants.

Or maybe Shades of Green? I'm not sure how their weddings work though.

I know I am starting to sound like a stuck record but Fultons Crabhouse at downtown disney is a great alternative and very reasonably priced.

I agree about Fultons-I've seen some beautiful trip reports on here from brides who wed at Fultons!!

Why are you hesitant about the Swan & Dolphin?
