Has anyone gone to the courthouse in Kissimmee? Was your wait long? That is what we are planning on doing. We will be arriving on Thursday before the wedding and going straight to the courthouse from the airport. What do you need to get your marriage license? Neither of us has been married before. I am thinking just birth certificates... thanks for any info you might be able to share!!! I appreciate it!!!
I got this directly from Wishbook....
Florida Marriage License Requirements:
Couples wishing to be married must obtain a marriage license at any County Courthouse in the State of Florida for use anywhere in the State of Florida. Blood tests are not required.
Proper id entification is necessary, such as a drivers license, certified copy of birth certificate, or passport. If a previous marriage ended in divorce within the past twelve (12) months outside the State of Florida, a copy of the divorce decree is required prior to the wedding ceremony.
There is no waiting period for out of state residents. A three (3) day waiting period is necessary for Florida Residents. The cost of the marriage license is $102.50 (subject to change without notice) payable by cash or money order. The marriage license will be issued at time of application, is valid immediately (with the exception of the three day waiting period for Florida Residents) and must be used within sixty (60) days. (Some Florida counties require a marriage license to be used within thirty days of issuance).
The Osceola and Orange County Courthouses are open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm EST, excluding holidays. The courthouses will be closed on certain holidays throughout the year. We recommend calling ahead of time to verify hours of operation.

Take Highway #535 and take a left at the intersection of Highway #192. Travel approximately 6 miles. Turn right on John Young Parkway. At the fourth traffic light turn left onto Patrick Street. Continue straight ahead. The courthouse is at the corner of Rose and Patrick Streets. The Marriage License office is located inside the courthouse building on the second floor.
Hope this helps! Good luck
