marriage license question

Me and my DF live in fl. How do we get our marriage license? My DF has a start issued id from NJ since he had his driving privilages revoked until next year. So he never got a FL does he need to do that before we get the marriage license? living in fl can i just fax as well as we both work during the times they are open.

You both have to be there in person and I'm pretty sure he's going to need a florida ID.

Also, don't forget the three-day waiting period for FL residents. On the plus side, if you have proof of counseling from a religious official, you can save $32 on the application fee

I just looked at the mail-away form on Brevard County's website, and it doesn't say anything about the option only being open to out-of-state couples...

The cool thing is, there's no fee to get it from Brevard County by mail - you just pay the cost of the license

He should be able to use his birth certificate and the NJ ID. If he has a passport, he may not need the birth certificate and certainly not the NJ ID. I think all I used was a passport.

Alas, it may not say anything on the Web site, but we got big fat denied when we tried to do the mail-in Brevard County license, as an in-state couple. They said the only in-state exception is if one or both were in the military. Couldn't really argue with that.
