Marrakesh Restaurant in Epcot

We are wanting to try something different however we only like beef or chicken when it comes to meat. Would we enjoy this place?

we tried marrakesh for the first time apr 2005 and its now one of our favorite restaurants!! i had the chicken couscous--it was awesome!! dh had the beef shiskebabs and said it was delicious. he also thought the belly dancer was delicious!!!! dds 7 and 3 loved dancing with her. overall a great place!

oh yes most of the menu items are chicken and beef anyway. I really enjoyed the chicken kebabs. The food is very flavorful. We went for lunch in October for our honeymoon, we enjoyed it so much we are returning on our Easter trip

Chicken Kebabs - grilled brochettes of chicken breast marinated in Moroccan herbs and spices

Sultan Sampler - grilled brochette of either beef or chicken served with a Beef Brewat Roll and Chicken Bastilla served with vegetable couscous

We are going on Easter to this restaurant and I am little nervous because my son has a tree nut allergy. I am hoping he can have his dishes prepared w/o nuts.
BTW- Where did you ever get to meet Snow and all the dwarfs? I am dying to get a pic like that. The closest we have is the Topiary.

I've heard that this particular restaurant is not very compliant when it comes to nut allergies. Not from personal experience, though. We have no nut issues in our family. Just from reading these boards. There's nuts in A LOT of the food, though. That being said... Restaurant Marrakesh is very nice. My DH has been to Morocco and has been happy with the food at this Epcot restaurant. The show is good. And so is the food, in our opinion. It is a little toned down from the traditional. Still good. HUGE servings. HUGE! So, I say: Go! Enjoy! Bellydance!

We really enjoy Restaurant Marrakesh (Sp) and it has become an annual must do. DH and DS had the Sultan Sampler and they really love it. I had the Chicken Kabbobs and they were wonderful. The Bastilla dessert was to die for!!!!!! Without question, the best dessert I have ever had.
