Got two little girls. Got Akershus Princess down. Choosing another TC between Marrakesh and Biergarten? Which to go for?

At Biergarten, you sit with other people, if that helps your decision.

I vote for Marrakesh too. I've eaten at both and by far prefer Marrakesh.

I like both, but the girls will enjoy heading up to the dance floor at Marrakesh and dancing with the belly dancer. Several little girls did that when we were there, and the dancer was very good about making them feel welcome and special.

On the other hand, they might enjoy the chicken dances at the Biergarten.

I totally agree! I've also eaten at both and BY FAR prefer Marrakesh

Another vote for Marrakesh...we love it!!! It's a must do for our family every trip!

Biergarten for us--the polka and sausages can't be beat. We thought Marrakesh was a big dud the night we went. Much more fun in Germany!

I have recently ate at both of them, and would lean torwards Biergarten. At Marrakesh I had the lamb shank, while excellent I thought something was missing. It took me a bit figure it out it wasn't has heavily seasoned as I would expect Morocon food to be. The Biergarten let me have things that I would not normally eat at home.

I think we enjoyed the food at Marrakesh better and the belly dancer was entertaining to our daughter. But the Biergarten turned out to be more memorable for us. Our dd was 2 1/2 at the time and we were seated with another couple who also happened to have a dd the same age (seemed to have been purposely arranged that way). Well the two little girls were shy at first but it wasn't long before they were holding hands and dancing on the dance floor. It's probably the best video we have of any of our vacations--they danced and jumped around for quite a while.

I brought my DH then 2 and DD then 6 to both on our last trip. We were not impressed with Marrakesh at all. THe service was not that great, the food was just OK and the belly dancer/musician was out for all of 10 minutes.

Biergaten was hands down the best! Both my kids loved the food and the music. My 2yo sat riveted the entire meal. The band is fun and loud and and stays out a long time. We can't wait to go back!!

Biergarten is a bit short on food items at the buffet that children enjoy. For that reason, I tend not to recommend it for groups with little children.

Enjoy.

If you like bland, uninspiring, and sometimes totally undercooked, and sometimes dry meat and 3 quality entrees, Marrakesh is for you. I didn't expect overly hot or overly spicy food. There simply wasn't any spice there. None of the wonderful blend of spices advertised. My suggestion is to try the Tangierene Cafe for lunch and hit the Biergarten for dinner.
