She has a new inflatable jump house business (not in a warehouse, the kind that comes to your house and sets up). There are none of those kind in our area, the closest one has a $50 trip charge. She has the room to store the deflated ones in her spare garage.

Pics of receipt from Wal MArt OR all the candy with cards attached.... or it didn't happen.![]()
Oops my mistake. It was $4.27 per bar. Don't know what the hostility or the popcorn is all about.

OK, now, can we see the TOTAL at the bottom of the receipt.... and with any luck it'll have the date on it too![]()
These are the 6-7 OZ full or I guess giant sized candy bars. Not the ones that come in a six or 10 pack.

Walmart's website has a 6 count package of full size Snicker bars for that exact amount...$4.27. Are you sure that price isn't for a 6 pack? It's the only way it makes sense. Still doesn't make sense that she spent $2500, as that would be 3500+ candy bars.
Doing a search at Wal*mart for 'King Size' (yes, I'm bored)...These are the 6-7 OZ full or I guess giant sized candy bars. Not the ones that come in a six or 10 pack.

First off, king size candy bars are only like $1-2 at Walmart. I absolutely do not believe that the candy was $5 per bar, and if it was, I think it was terrible business sense to purchase it when you can buy a regular size Snickers for a dollar or less. She will be out of business in no time if she spends like that.
Second, it's tacky to attach any advertising to the candy. 99% of the cards will be thrown out anyway by angry parents or by sugar crazed kids who couldn't care less. If she doesn't want to give out free, no strings attached candy, then just don't participate.
Frankly, I think she is missing a better marketing opportunity...setting up a bounce house in her front yard. Put a sign out encouraging kids to jump around for free that night. Granted, it may be difficult for kids in costume to do this. But whether or not they jump, everyone will see it. I think it would be fine to have a company sign next to it advertising rentals. This way, the candy doesn't feel like payment for reading the business card. And you are letting people sample the product for free. But really, take the cards off the candy...you will end up turning away more potential customers than you will draw new ones in.
Lie #1 caught....

based on the SKU number on the receipt, those are 6 packs of candy, not individual bars and, regular full size, not giant.
wow how big are these $4 candy bars? full size bars here (in NY) are like $1 each....
I think the card is tacky but whatever floats her boat.
