When the park was really crowded, we snuck away onto the boat! There was a live band playing on board and only a handful of people watching. We grabbed some snacks from jolly holiday, and sat at table on the front end of the boat facing the river. We were just far enough away from the music that it wasn't too loud, but we could still enjoy it. It was dark outside, the boat was all lit up, and so pretty! We looked out over the ROA and NO, and had a chance to just relax. I felt like it was the best kept secret of the night!

I don't know if/when he'll return, but I'm surprised he's returned to WDW and not Disneyland. We LOVE Louis and it was so fun to meet him on the riverboat in February.

We've never met him and would love to on our November trip. Not much new for us in the parks for this trip, but Louis sure would be!

I am thoroughly longing for the return of Fantasmic...but I am absolutely loving the peacefulness and tranquility of NOS at night time without all the F! madness that it brings to the area. There are some great opportunities like you found to experience that area that have not been possible in quite some time.
