Marie's New Years Resolution~in July

You are really doing awesome marie! 10 lbs down. :cheer2: :banana: :cheer2: I like the cola science fair project. Should be an eye opening project (and maybe keep the kids away from soda for awhile :rotfl: )

Definitely something in the air with the kid's. PITA's here too. Hang in there!
 
I really am having a good day!!! I just really cracked myself up just now!!! DH came in and asked "Are the pantyhose on the dresser bad?" And I turned around and said, "Honey, ALL pantyhose are bad!!" Then I just cracked up!!! Heck, I'm still sitting here laughing!! DH thinks I've lost it!!
(sigh---i think i'm better now...chuckle chuckle!!)
(He uses the old nylons to clean and shine his boots...)

Ok...so I went and picked up the tooth....they actually gave me TEETH....4 of them. I haven't opened the envelope yet....still kinda feel weird that I have someone elses teeth on my kitchen counter....
We came up with the title and all the other stuff for the project. We had to narrow it down a little.... I think it will be pretty cool.

So, food today-
b-breakfast scramble

l-chicken burrito
d-meatloaf w/ bbq sauce, potato wedges and carrots
s-toffee bites
water-60 oz
exercise-2 mile run walk - 30 minutes
The walk about killed me!!! Once I started running, I felt great, but during the walk my thighs and hips were really aching.

Ya know...looking at that food, if you didn't know I was on Jenny Craig, you'd say, "Damn woman....you're not gonna lose any weight eating that crap!!" Trust me, the portions are small, but filling, and really good!!!

I was thinking the same thing about your food. Your menu looks like cheat food most of the time!!! I'd love to see a picture, especiallly of the chocolate cake you talk about.....mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Marie, you are doing great! The JC food sounds really good. Sounds like they are teaching that eating right can taste good and great portion control too.

I'm so glad this week is over!!! Work has been a total PITA!!
Yesterday I go so mad that I actually got up and left:mad: :mad: :mad: !!!
The person I got mad at is such an idiot!!! I told my boss that I left before I made her (N) cry....and trust me....she'd still be crying!!! (I can be VERY hateful when I put my mind to it!)
Ok...so today was good....didn't threaten anyone, or even get mad! Yay me!

Had a photo shoot last night...it was EXHAUSTING!!! Had to be there by 5:30 and got home around 9....didn't stop the entire time! I should count an hour for the challenge, but i'm not going to..i'm only counting my workout times.
So, food for yesterday -

s-chocolate peanut/caramel bar

exercise-3 hr photo shoot

Food today -
b-triple grain crisps
l-chicken strips w/ rice
s-jello
d-i skipped teh JC ravioli and had 4 oz of some really good steak!!! sorry, i was craving some MEAT!!! (i had marinated it and threw it on the George Forman....5 minutes later...YUMMMMMM!)
water-60 oz
exercise-30 minute 2 mile walk. didn't run tonight...DH wasn't feeling 100% so we just did a really quick pace.

I weigh in tomorrow. I'm hoping for a 2 lbs loss....would love to see 5, but i'm being realistic. OHOHOHOHOHOHOH!!!! I bought a pair of pants yesterday at Target....just some casual khaki's for work.....SIZE 10!!!! AND THEY FIT!!!! A little snug across the butt, but other than that, they fit great!! I'll probably wear them on Sunday to a photo shoot! I was so excited that they even buttoned!!! Hell, that's a miracle in itself!!! :banana: :banana: :banana:
Hopefully tomorrow will be good to me. :wizard:

Woo-hoo on the size 10! I am so jealous. I made it to a 10 last spring and now can barely cram my butt into a 16! You are gonna be at goal before you know it!

Not as much as I had hoped for, but hey, I'll take it!!

DH and I went to Kohls for some sheets and stuff, and I got 2 pair of dress pants (size 10) and 3 blouses! The tops are really cute and stylish....wrap v-necks....very sexy!! Also the whole family went for haircuts!!!
I have a ON of stuff to do today,, but I'm just not motivated....:confused3

Ok....gonna update my ticker and get busy!

L-chili con carne (not a favorite)
D-Cashew chicken...alot better than I thought it would be...put a little bit of low sodium soy sauce ;)
S-1 chocolate cupcake - Gunner's b-day party!! :banana:
Water-40 oz
Exercise-3 mile run/walk 45 minutes
DH and I were doing the normal 2 miles, and saw that the gate to the High School track was open. DH wanted to time himself, so off we went to the track. I ran a 1/2 mile, and walked another 1/2. DH ran 1 1/2 in 15 minutes! It's part of the testing process for the job that he's appling for. He has to be able to run 1.5 miles in 15:38. I'm really proud of how hard he's been working for this! 6 weeks ago it took him about 18 minutes.

Ok....gotta go work on DD's room...

Wow, what a day!! Another photo shoot....8 hour wedding show....2 inch heels!! OUCH!!! :headache: Anyway, it was a good day...lots of potential brides...lots of pictures taken...lots of good leads! Very tiring! Lots of munchie stuff, although I think I did ok. I passed on ALL the wedding cake samples, and all the dips and appetizers, but I did have 3 mini chocolate chip cookies, and 2 cubes of pepperjack cheese. (Sorry, I was weak!!)
Otherwise, food for today -
B-french toast w/ berries
L-3 mini chocolate chips cookies & 2 cheese cubes
S-(right now....rum & diet coke)
D-pesto pizza
S-(later....possibly another R&C) :confused3
Water-40 oz
Exercise-hauling equipment, holding wedding albums (10 lbs), squating & standing.....WONDERFUL thigh workout!

ok..so this coming week looks pretty calm...I don't think the painter is coming this week....not for sure though. (just doing a hall and entryway)...no photoshoots until Sunday...then it will be a big one.....(about 700 kids in 4 hours....3 camera's going at once....:headache: :headache: )
My plan for the week is to run/walk 4 times, do Bob or some other dvd workout 3 times, and incorporate more weights and leg lifts. I'd also like to try to start hitting the treadmill in the mornings for 20 minutes...we'll see how that one goes. It's time to kick it up a notch or two!

Oh, and the Science Fair project is going really good! Kinda gross, but good!! I think we'll put everything together Monday & Tuesday night. I'ts due on Friday.

I'm glad to hear you get a little of a breather this week! I've also found that planning the week's worth of workouts makes it easier to stick to.

Are you going to join the Feb exercise challenge? If so, you need to up those minutes!!! :goodvibes
 
I MIGHT up the minutes for Feb...not sure yet. DH is going to be out of town a few times, plus I'm not 100% sure of my photog schedule....i'm thinking about adding 100, but not sure yet.

Today was a little rough on me...not sure what the hell happend....
