Your house is BEAUTIFUL!!! Ours may be big but I don't think it will ever look that put together! or spotless! Forget locking the kids in the closet, for my house to be that clean, Dh will have to lock me in the closet

Your house should sell QUICK! Do you have any open houses planned yet? I think that will help the offers to come flying in!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend with your mom and sis, even though it wasn't very relaxing. Sometimes it's more fun not to relax.

Let's see....shot a 3 hour wedding yesterday...fun...
This morning we took the kids bowling! They have $.99 games on Sundays from 10-12. It was fun! I almost beat DH...I should have beat him!! next time!!
Then we went to the mall and got the kids new shoes...had a pretzel...then came home. DD, the neighbor girl and I washed the car, then DH and I spen the rest of the afternoon at the patio table...watching the kids jump on the trampoline and talking. VERY RELAXING DAY!!!!

oh, dinner was burgers on the grill w/ a beer!

gotta go get DD in the shower now....almost time for bed....

wow....i needed today....maybe we'll get a phone call by tuesday...hopefully.
I'm not going to stress about it anymore.....yeah.....right!

GOT THE PHONE CALL TODAY!!!!!:
DH starts his new job in Alabama on June 17th!!!!
Now I need pixie dust for the house to sell....SOON!!!
(heck, i need PD for it to start showing!!!)

omg! I am so excited!! The chief called DH today about 4:30 to congratulate him and formally offer him the position!!! WAY COOL!!!!! Then, about 10 minutes after that, the HR guy called and told him his start date!! I hollered when DH called and told me!! I know they said that he had passed everything, but you can't say you're officially hired until they call and offer you the job!
They are looking for an apartment for us down there, and I imagine we'll drive down in a few weeks to settle everything and get DH situated.... can ya tell i'm excited??!!!

ok....so what else happened today???? Well....i cracked a tooth...one that needs a crown, so I'll be in the dentist chair at 8:15 in the morning....it's really sensative, so i'm not eating or drinking anything tonight. Oh, and I had a rock chip on the windshield of the maxima, and it's spreading, so I'll be getting a new windshield tomorrow....(tomorrow my checkbook will be crying!!!)...
BUT THAT'S ALL OK!!!! DH GOT THE CALL!!!!!!

ok....just got home....had to babysit for a neighbor tonight...so i'm going to go relax for a bit!!! No rum...just relax!!!

Man what a day, what a day!!
Tooth is THROBBING!!! Took a pain pill before bed last night and it lasted 6 hours....to the minute!!! I was up at 3am!! Anyway, I laid in bed and went through everything that I have to do before 6/17! It's quite the list because I never did go back to sleep!!
Anyway, I talked to the realtor (e-mailed actually) and I think we're going to plan an open house. We'll see what happens.
Oh, DS graduated from 5th grade today. He was so handsome!! Proud mama!! I left work at noon and didn't go back...took both kids for ice cream after the ceremony & reception. It was a beautiful afternoon!!
THEN, when DH got home from work, I pouted a little bit, and he agreed to take me shopping. I had NO shorts that fit. (pity party, i know!!) Anyway, we went to Gordman's and Kohls...I now have 5 pairs of shorts (size 8!!) and 4 new shirts!! I think i'm set for the summer!!! I just have to pick which outfit I'm going to wear to the party on Saturday night! I'm really excited about that too! My boss and I counted...there will be approx 30 people there!! (see, some people DO like me!!)
BBQ,Beer,Pool & Karaoke!!! My photog boss is coming, and he's taking pics...I MIGHT post....we'll see what happens!!

ok...i'm gonna go watch the end of Idol....I only watch the last part of the show to see who wins...don't care about the rest of it.

have a great night, and keep the PD coming...I don't want to be in Memphis alone!!! (ranked #2 in crime in the country....can ya blame me for wanting out??)

oh, one more thing....
I have to brag about my kids for a second....
Since they've seen all the work DH, DSis & I did, they have really been kicking in and helping keep the house clean! DS unloads & loads the dishwasher w/out being told! DD is making her bed, and helping me make mine....and they both have discovered that the dirtly laundry goes in the laundry room and not on the floor!

I don't know who these kids are, but can I keep them?

5th grade graduation? Is 6th grade jr. high or something? We don't have graduation until 8th grade here.

Not weighing in this weekend....gonna go every other week for now. Besides, the way i've been eating this week....yeah....let's not go there!!
I had Taco Bell for lunch today.... And tomorrow night is my party, so between the eating and drinking, I'm not going to worry about the diet until Sunday. DH and I are going to start walking again too.

my tooth still hurts. I'm really afraid i'm going to need a root canal.

Let's see...tomorrow.....
I'm taking the kids to the library, making 2 batches of oreo balls for the party, help DH clean the garage..AGAIN, then I'm going to lay out for a few hours...I hope. Party starts at 6...

But for now....i'm tired and my tooth hurts...i'll check in later this weekend.
