Marie's New Years Resolution~in July

Hey there!
DH will be home in a few hours...:banana: . Don't get me wrong...I'm not one of those overly dependent wives...I'm just fine with out him being here....I just like it better when he is here, that's all.
Work was ok...I felt like I was coming out of my skin this morning.....just a little anxious I guess...:confused3 .
Lisa brought in a bunch of Mary Kay stuff....her daughter used to sell it, so she was selling it to us at a major discount!! I got some moisturizer and the day & night serum stuff....and a bunch of other stuff I probably don't need!! OH....and 2 of the women in the office NEVER wore eyeliner before....so I kinda did a mini-makeover on them....they both looked really good afterwards! Eyeliner & eyeshadow.....it's amazing how much of a difference it made! It also made me realize I probably wear mine to dark/heavy.

Ok....so food......
B-jc "cheerios"....(i can't think of the real name)
S- sour dough bites
L-nothing....skipped it....not hungry
S-nothing.......
D-still not hungry....I can either have the turkey chili I was supposed to have for lunch, or I can stick w/ the JC pizza...I'm just not hungry yet....:confused3
water - 40 oz so far....will be 60 by bedtime
exercise-none....

ok....gotta go get on the kids for homework, and then dinner, and then laundry, showers and bed.

ps....if I lose another pound this week, I'm going to go ahead and get my subway sandwich....and it probably won't be on the JC list!!! :rolleyes1

Can you send some of that "well behaving, not bickering" kid stuff this way? I swear the first and last words out their mouthes right now are something mean to each other - ugh! The sweet & sour chicken must have been really nasty if the dog wouldn't even have it :rotfl2: . Clearly not meant for human consumption either. I'm sorry you are feeling out of sorts, but you really are doing a great job staying on track. I'm sure you'll get that subway sandwich after your WI and it is going to taste GREAT! Very sweet of your DH to have flowers for you. That is always so nice. :love: Glad he is home now and you can celebrate a late valentine's day!

exercise-standing and walking around the schools Mardis Gras carnival for 2 hours.

I talked to the editor of the paper....she said the pics & story about the science fair projects are going to run in the upcoming wednesday paper. 2 weeks later...but oh well. I told her about the carnival tonight, so she came and we both took pics and she's going to do a story about it...pretty cool. I don't know if i have anything worthwhile, but I'll send them to her anyway.

oh....we had 4 jars of the peanut butter!!! 2 at home & 2 at work!!! :scared: :scared1: glad no one got sick!!!

ok...tomorrow's plan...
1)weigh in
2)work on taxes
3)go to eye appt. and get new glasses :cool2:
4)laundry
5)relax

3 POUNDS YA'LL!!!!! I LOST 3 MORE POUNDS!!!!

i am in such a good mood right now!!! I couldn't believe it when I stepped on the scale this morning!!! 153.3!!! I was hoping for 155.... which would have been another pound, but 3!!! WOW!!! yay for me!!!! (yes, i'm dancing :banana: )
I keep saying when I lose I'm gonna do this, or I'm gonna do that....(buy new jeans, go to subway, start tanning....) but I really don't see myself doing that yet....:confused3 I know you're supposed to reward yourself, but I'm not going to just yet....(seeing 153 was a great reward!!)...I'm gonna wait until I get to the 149 mark....then I might have to try on some jeans....maybe in a size 8??? (yeah, i know...wishful thinking!! but a girl can dream...right?)
I do have 100 minutes of tanning that I bought last year and haven't used....we'll see....

man i'm in a good mood!!! :dance3: :banana: :yay:

CONGRATS! That is awesome! You are so kicking you know what right now with your eating and exercising and all of it. You are right about seeing 153 on the scale being a great reward in itself too. Way to go! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey guys - thanks for all the support!!
Yesterday was fun....I did a bunch of nothing....watched the NASCAR Race, took a nap off and on....then DH and I went for our 2 mile walk/run...it was cold & windy. Not fun! Then we took the kids to the skating place. The church had reserved it for 2 hours. It was fun. I skated w/ the kids and DH watched, and laughed at us! I was a little sore today, but felt good. I don't remember the food yesterday....(and I'm too lazy to go get my menu.) I stayed on track for the most part, but we went out for pizza after skating. I had 2 slices and 1 apple struedle slice. (pretty small slice).

Ok....so for today....
B-jc blueberry muffin
S-jc chocolate chip bar
L-Mexican Tortilla Soup (new on the JC menu) I didn't really care for it..only ate about 5 bites. Had a salad instead.
D-jc Beef Chow mein
Water-60 oz
Exercise-2 mile walk w/ dh. It was SUPER windy....took 35 minutes to do the 2 miles!! It was tough!!

Nothing exciting today....

Hi Marie,

Roller skating sounds like fun! The last time I went roller skating was a few years ago. I hadn't skated in awhile and was a little nervous to get back on skates. Well, I found out that it's just like riding a bike... We skated for hours and had a great time! The problem was that as I was skating back to the skate rental area, I had to swerve quickly to avoid running my nephew over and ended up slamming my hand onto the lock of a locker. It hurt so badly for weeks! :( The skating was fun though!:rotfl:

Keep up the good work! You are so close to your goal... I just KNOW you are going to accomplish it soon! :cheer2:

You need to update your mileage! Sounds like you had a great weekend! Were you off work today for the holiday? (i had to work, but got off early)

It finally warmed up here today, it was around 48, but really windy too, 20 knots, so I still havent walked outside yet, just doing the treadmill. But its supposed to be in the 60s this weekend YAY!

I don't know what my problem is tonight. I'm tired! And I have the hiccups....again!!! 2nd time today!!
So today...it wasn't a bad day...just another day. Kids are back to normal...fighting this morning...grounded tonight.
I didn't stay on plan today....nothing horrendous...but I don't think I did myself any favors!

B-jc stuffed breakfast sandwich
S-apple slices
L-jc broccoli & cheese baked potato
D-sloppy joe on wheat bun & 1 spoonful of peas :guilty: (jc plan was chicken fajitas, that I love, but I was tired!!)
water - 60 oz so far
exercise-2 mile walk

ok...i'm gonna go sit on my butt for a little while.

Don't go getting discouraged, woman. You are rockin' this thing. And you deviating from plan & eating a sloppy joe & some peas after walking 2 miles isn't gonna hurt. Get back on plan and keep on goin!!
