I really think they could use a small set aside building/rooms for rare characters. I used to love Timon from Lion King and he was available back when AK first opened. I doubt I can find him now. I mean can I still meet cinderella's step sisters and stepmom? I don't know. But if so... there should be a designated place to go (indoors) to meet with them. Prop up some soovies in that designated area... and people will be able to (and they WILL).. purchase the Marie Mug.. Marie T-shirt, etc.

I believe the step sisters meet at the 1900 Park Fare Character meal. That might be the only place, but they are available.

There are so many possible rare characters that it's hard to even wrap your mind around. For example, we once met Launchpad from Duck Tales at AK. Who would have thought he was ever in the parks?

The last time we saw Timon was on our honeymoon in Janurary 2010. Not 100% sure where we are in this picture, though. I would recommend looking by the entrance to AK. There used to be a spot at Camp Minnie Mickey where you could often find rare ones, but I don't know what that's like now with Avatar Land.

For the step sisters and mother, we found them during the Christmas Party in MK in November 2010. Not sure if they still come to the Christmas party but you can check if you happen to be in the parks during a holiday.

Thanks for that info. I'm thinking about doing a different character meal than I did in 2015 (Ohana and Crystal Palace). Maybe I will do this.

Yes, I have definitely seen them... as in pictures that others have taken with them. Just don't didnt recall how old the pic may have been or where they went to find them.

When I took my pick with Timon (which i know longer have... long story)... we actually called a Disney number that told my husband and I where to find him (at AK) and at what time. Does that still exist at Disney???

Marie is one of my all-time favorite characters. Is she ANYWHERE in the parks these days? Special events or anything??
