I'm sure she has VIP guide which takes them through the exit and straight on the ride. It would be pretty hilarious to wait and line and ride with Mariah Carey though!

I'm also curious about what resort. Disney hotels are nice, don't get me wrong, but I think someone like MC is used to beyond five star resorts. Maybe the new Four Seasons? I know Britney Spears stayed at AKL a few years ago, which I thought was kind of funny since it's a more "moderately" priced deluxe.

She probably stays in the same suite (can't recall the name) at the Yacht Club where Iger stays when he's in town. Yacht Club is Iger's favorite on site property.


I'm sure there'll be a photo of Carey and her brood in the National Enquirer next week probably on Splash Mountain.

I think it's great celebrities feel comfortable bringing their children to WDW but lordy, I wish she didn't feel the need to maintain the 'look'! 5-inch heels walking around WDW sounds like a punishment! If she had showed up in a ballcap, sunglasses, no makeup and fanny pack thumbsup2) I doubt anyone would have recognized her.

I hope the body guards had fun and at least got a Mickey balloon.

The "normal" AKL rooms might be smaller than the monorail resorts, but there are still very nice suites with concierge service.

There are also the Grand Villas in the DVC side (the Jambo grand villa is at the top of my "DVC dream bucket list" with the extra game room with a pool table, extra large balconys and dining room table.. One of those grand villas was once a suite that Michael Jackson prefered.

While I'm sure Disney's suites aren't perfect, I think they are adequate enough

We stayed at the BCR CL a few years ago and the club level CMs said that she and her husband had stayed there recently. They said that her husband was extremely friendly with the CMs. But, they weren't even allowed to look at her.

I wasn't trying to take anything away from AKL and of course there are some nice ones out there, but compared to what these over the top celebs are used to, I'd imagine its not entirely on par...

My DD was in Celebrate the Season the last time Mariah performed for the Christmas Parade telecast. DD was on stage as a character friend/backup dancer with her and Mariah wouldn't even pose for a photo with the characters. Needless to say, she didn't make too many fans that day. DD was thrilled, though, when Mr. Teddy Bear appeared in People magazine's photo of Mariah!

I loved Mariah growing up and sometimes I think she is in on the entire diva act and it's a big joke to her because she does seem like a sweet person.
