We love this place. We have never ate inside in the restaurant, only in the outside bar area because of the music and the laid back atmosphere. The kids love it here because they love Jimmy Buffet. When we talk about our last trip to Universal my son always says "Mom, remember the time you let us order chocolate cake for our meal at Jimmy Buffets!" What can I say, we were on vacation. What happens in Universal, stays in Universal.

There is a new menu at Margaritaville. The old favs are still available, of course. We tried the crab, shrimp and mushroom dip which was delicious! It was served with garlic toast. I don't remember what else was new.

For those of you, like me, who find the loaded nachos a bit too...loaded, they serve chips with melted cheese outside at the Lone Palm. I don't know if this is available inside or not.

Oh, I recommend the loaded Corona. Instead of the lime they add a shot of lime tequila. Much smoother then it sounds.
