We are going to USO/IOA the Sunday before Thanksgiving. There will be 7 adults and 3 children. We want to eat at Margaritaville. When would be a fun time to go? Can we make reservations ahead of time? When? Any tips or comments will be appreciated.

Wow, Margaritaville seems to be the "hip" restaurant these days. There have been many threads on it lately. For the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the parks close at 6pm. Crowds should be light. I don't think it matters when you go. If there is a wait, you can walk around City Walk. Once inside, order a drink and watch the videos on the overhead screen. I was never bored waiting for the food to come out. When you leave, get another drink at the bar outside and walk with it back to your hotel.

if you're staying offsite, when you walk into Citywalk, there's a booth on your left near the Endangered Species store. stop there first for a priority seating for Margaritaville. there is also a booth in each of the parks.

like Robvia said, I doubt you're have a problem, but with a party that size they'll be able to plan for you and the PS will cut down your wait time. it'll also be a nice time of year to eat outside on the Porch of Indecision for another option.

Thanks. Yes, we are staying offsite in a pool home. My daughter was there on a business trip and said the kids would realy like the place. Looking forward to it.

Don't forget about the Volcano eruption. That's my favorite part. Last year and this year, my parents and I went to Margaritaville shortly after it opened (around 11 a.m.), and were immediately seated.
