Why did the outdoor stand stop doing on the rocks? sooooo annoying

I have not done la cava yet (I have suffered through the frozen). Can you get the drinks to go?

Yes, you can get drinks to go at la cava. highly recommend this...vastly better than the frozen stand.

also, i can tell you all the worst margarita on property is the one at hoop de doo revue. absolutely terrible.

Seriously??? Then you probably have never had a strong margarita. The ones from that stand are awful and weaka**. Go to Cava inside the pavillion. You will see what a strong margarita is like.

The other 2 places we like for strong "classic" margaritas is Dad's Tune-In Lounge (the platinum margarita) and the pool bar at the Polynesian.

I have never had a "strong" margarita from the outside kiosk either. HOWEVER DBF's brother got one that was mostly tequila when we went in 2009. I think it's the mixing machine they use... depending on when you get your margarita you can get a really strong one or a really weak one.

The outdoor kiosk in Mexico served up a weak margarita, to my taste.

If you're having dinner at San Angel, I'd try one there. Not sure if it's the same mixers as la Cava, but those margaritas were fantastic!

The Italian Margherita at the little kiosk in front is an absolute rockstar of a drink.. HIGHLY recommend it.

I can second and third this suggestion!!! Definitely on my list in 19 days!

It sounds great- but is it super heavy on the avocado flavor? And why do some seem to dislike them frozen versus on the rocks?
