Mardi Gras @ US

I've been told that US celebrates Mardi Gras during Feb. As this is when we will be in Orlando I thought I best find out what it entails. So, what happens to celebrate this occasion, is it at a certain location, is it worth seeing, what dates does it cover etc

It is at USF and includes a parade with floats, beads, and coins, cajun food, and a nightly concert. It's included in regular park admission and is a lot of fun, try and check it out if you're on vacation while it's going on.

Fridays and Saturdays from February 21 - April 5, 2003 and every day from April 11 - April 26, 2003. 30 Mardi Gras event days and 10 headline concerts!

I havent been during Mardi Gras but doing a search on these boards will give you much info on people that have.
