Mardi Gras or Easter 2019

Our kids are out of school the week of March 4 for Mardi Gras and week of April 22 (Easter) for spring break. We are considering going the week of 4/22. I know both times will be busy but will either of those times be unmanageable?

Easter week is going to be way worse than Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras week has an uptick of visitors from Louisiana, but that's it. It will be MUCH less crowded than Easter week.

Oh, my...I hadn't even thought about it being Mardi Gras on March 5th. We'll be at POFQ for the week of our anniversary. Should be a great party!

Entire state of Louisiana will be there Mardi Gras week (or was in our experience this past February) but that seems to be a lot easier to contend with than spring break.
