Where & when does the Mardi Gras event happen this year?
The event takes place at Universal Studios Florida every Saturday night beginning Feb. 14th through Mar. 27th. Start times depend on when the theme park rides & attractions close that day.
TIMELINE:
With a 8:00pm Theme Park Close:
The party kicks off at 4:45pm
At approx.6:45pm the first band performs
At 8:00pm the Parade begins
At approx. 8:30pm the second band performs
With a 9:00pm Theme Park Close:
The party kicks off at 5:45pm
At approx.7:45pm the first band performs
At 9:00pm the Parade begins
At approx. 9:30pm the second band performs
Is there a parade every night and what time does it begin?
The parade will be Saturday nights only from February 14th through March 27th. The start of the parade depends on the park hours for that day. Please check your park brochure or the timeline above for more information.

What else is offered at Mardi Gras?
In addition to 2 live party bands every Saturday night enjoy a spectacular nighttime parade with 14 floats from New Orleans, street performers, Cajun & Creole cuisine, and beads by the handful plus all the rides & attractions at Universal Studios!
How much does Mardi Gras cost?
All the Mardi Gras festivities including the concerts are included with your paid Universal Studios admission. You can purchase a Mardi Gras ticket for only $39.95 plus tax-valid for any one admission to Universal Studios after 5pm. Find out if you qualify for any available discount offers.
