so yesterday, i came here, started going through journals, not sure how many i made it to, but then the dis seemed to die on me. pages were either loading really really slow, or not at all. so i figured, i'd leave it and come back and try again later. well, work got crazy busy, i didn't have a free minute, then i went to the rangers game with my dad. home around 10pm, in time to shower and go to bed! craziness.

i'm sad to say today is going to be another busy day at work, as soon as my boss gets herself moving, so i'm taking this time right now just to update my journal. i hope to be able to get to some other journals tonight after i run and eat dinner, but that may run into american idol time...so no promises :p

so i'm kinda doing wendie this week...kinda, but not really. i'm saving my high day for tomorrow, since my best friend mentioned that she wanted to go out for mexican on st patty's day...who knows :crazy: . anyway, i'm just going to post sunday and monday for now.

today, i'm shooting for 22 points plus aps, and aps should be either 4 or 5 (4 mile run, tentative walking afterward, depending whether i'm inside or outside).

The Dis did the same thing to me yesterday. I couldn't get it to post my replies. After about a half hour of trying, I gave up and figured I catch up with the rest of the journals today.

Good job with eating all of your points :D . Hope your day goes well and that you enjoy AI tonight. I always switch back and forth because I hate all the commercials and filler :D .

i'm doing something unconventional for me today, and starting off with my own journal. yesterday i got busy with work all day, never got a chance to come back to the board. i don't like being so busy! i know i'm so behind on everyone's journals, and i want to be able to read what you all are up to! i feel like i'm out of touch...and i don't like it. i miss all you guys! not sure what work will be like today, but i'm going to try to at least make it to some journals.

so i imed my best friend last night to see if we were still doing mexican tonight like she had mentioned, and i got a reply that she had no idea what i was talking about. so either i imagined her saying that, or she's going crazy. either way, i have no idea :crazy: . so i had planned for today to be a high day thinking we'd be going out, and now we're not...so i don't know what's going to happen. maybe i'll still have a big dinner, i'll have to see what's going on at my house.

so yesterday was a 22 point day, plus 5 aps, for a total of 27

b: pb/banana oatmeal = 5
s: 1 cup carrots + 1/2 cup red peppers + 2 tbsp hummus = 1
s: 2 jelly beans + 1 malted milk egg = 1

so like i said, today is supposed to be a high points day (somewhere in the 35-40 range i think), and without dinner, everything i have planned out so far comes to only 19. i really don't want to just start eating lots of junk food to take up points, because i'd rather use points on things i really want, and things that are healthy. i think i may have a cadbury egg later though, that would definitely be a good use of 4 points :teeth: .

ok, i'm hoping that the dis doesn't die on me again, and that i don't have lots of work to do today. my goal for today is to catch up on journals! i hope i can do it. if i don't make it to yours, it probably means that work came up, but know that i am thinking about all of you! hope everyone has a great day :sunny:
 
Mmm cadbury eggs!! Yikes Easter is coming up!!! I will have to try my best to avoid all that! Maybe just stick to eating boiled eggs!

Marcia, here I am feeling guilty about not getting around to journals lately and you're feeling the same way?? Let's cut ourselves some slack, OK? We have busy lives and the DIS has been horribly slow the last few days.

You've been doing a great job! I think your IM friend's fears are totally unfounded. Since you journal all your food, we'd all be the first ones to notice if you were eating in an unhealthy way and you've been doing such a good job with your points!! No worries! Just tell your friend that you have plenty of people watching over you! ::yes::

Your runs have been amazing! You are going to be so ready for that half marathon!!

Glad to hear all is well! Good luck with figuring out dinner tonight - that mexican was sounding delish!! Maybe you should make something mexican at home like chicken quesadillas a la Amanda! Hmmm, sounds like a great idea for MY dinner too!!

Marcia YOU amaze me girl! You are doing a terrific job of working your favorite foods in to YOUR program! There is no way I could decide to eat jelly beans and malted milk eggs and limit it the way you have. I guess I am just too much of a sugar addict. No way could I stop at one or two!

Glad to see you are taking sometime to do something fo yourself like starting with your journal first! I too have been busy lately and these boards are so addicting (no wonder I can't seem to keep my house clean ;) ) but sometimes I just can't get to any jouranl but my own. You are always so supportive and inspirational on my journal but I understand that life gets crazy sometimes and we just can't always get done what we'd like. Thanks for being there when you can :D !!!!
