MARCHing like Mulan - Exercise Challenge

Put me down for 45 min of yoga and core work this morning pre-vacation!!!

550/1260
(Pretty sure I negated that hard work though with my Bloody Mary on the plane. Haha)

Actually looks like Bloody Mary has relatively few calories. Plus those calories don't count when you are on vacation / above a certain elevation! :D

60 minutes on the elliptical for me yesterday, 631/1500. Need to gain some more ground this weekend!

Good Saturday morning, crew.

We had a small but mighty crew check in yesterday. No color changes, but every minute counts both individually and as a team.

I hope everyone as a great Saturday. Any big plans?

I'm taking my youngest to a concert. The local symphony orchastra is doing a Disney Pops concert with Disney songs, singers and video projections from the films. Should be a good time.

Code Red, repeat: we're at Code Red! Recon plan Charlie: Execute! Let's move, move, move, move, move! - Sarge from Toy Story.

No big plans for the weekend, need to get a long run in. In November, I went into my half not having done any runs longer than 6 miles. Trying to be a bit more prepared for my half mid-April, but so far, 6 is the most I've gotten in.... Motivation, weather, my list of excuses could go on and on....

60 minutes zumba, insanity and walking. Just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do today. :rolleyes1
425/1000

Just got back in from a 36 minute run. Chilly but not cold - sidewalks were a bit slushy from yesterday's snow - but I did see a couple of robins!

667/1500

After I get myself cleaned up I am off to a reunion for our run last month. Two of my teammates are celebrating birthdays this week so we thought it would be a good time to get together!

I hope you enjoyed DC Hmack. I really did
30 min run Thursday
45 min elliptical
Friday 30 min walk

Hoping to get in a longer run this afternoon but not sure what I can crank out after work this morning

896/1200

Changed things up a little today; went over to work out at a friend's house. She wanted to learn a little bit about weightlifting so I taught her a few of the basics. She also loves step, so we tried that out for about twenty minutes (never done it before and I'm terrible at it, apparently).

960/1200

Congrats to those who have changed color again!

I made my twenty minute goal today (shoveling again :(), but have skipped more days than I'd like lately. I'm trying for a better week coming up!

Total so far = 235/620

Had to take two days off from working out because on Thursday my body just wasn't feeling it and yesterday I ended up working almost 11 hours. Which leaves me with 55 minutes of cardio on Wednesday and 55 minutes of strength today for a total of 745/1000

1142/1500

DH & DS2 were in Disneyland yesterday so I was very jealous. DS got to score some Disney music while there with the high school band. DH said the instructor really challenged the kids and they did an awesome job! Can't wait to hear details when they get back in a couple days.

Hmack- we may be seeing the same symphony concert this summer with DS. We took him to the disney-Pixar one two years ago and he loved it. So I hope you enjoyed!

I'm going to give myself 90 minutes for today. We hit the MK running at 8am this am and walked to the contemporary for lunch, then back to the MK for a few rides and the parade before heading back to the hotel. I got off at kids I instead of Jambi house and walked back after stopping at their store. (Of course wouldn't you know I could have found what I needed at Jambi anyhow???). Anyhow, I'm tired and definitely say 90 min. But we had a great day that we ended with a lovely South African wine flight.

565/1260?

Eta- Nope - 640/1260- that's what vacation does to my brain.... Unable to do simple math. Or at least that which involves counting healthy habit minutes or calories. :)

With DH prodding I got 6 slow miles in at a local bridge. We were 78 degrees this afternoon at 4pm. Looks like we're skipping spring this year.
973/1200. Hope the snow starts to melt for everyone soon.

Kudos to everyone for keeping up the good work this month -- love seeing all the colors! :rainbow:

Thanks hmack for keeping track of us! :flower3: Sounds like a fun time in DC and I was impressed how much activity you did while away. :goodvibes

Nice work on the bridge run, Mrs. AR, especially in warm temps! :cool2:

Linda, the pain of having family members in DL while you are home holding down the fort!

60 minutes of walking and 120 minutes of running (1/2 of which was in the rain) brings me to 875/1000.

Got my run in - 92 minutes to bring me up to 759/1500, woohoo! However, I would not recommend long runs the day after consuming alcohol, eating tons of greasy food, and hardly sleeping...hehe.

32 minutes today .. puts me at 671/1000

I'm a little behind where I should be, but I've got a run planned for tomorrow, so hopefully that will catch me up. Then I just have to stay caught up...
