Marching into March: Exercise Challenge!

I'm revising my goal upwards to 1150. That will keep me accountable to my race training...

Nice job everyone; lots of color changes!!!

:cheer2:

35 min of yoga

585/800

(considering raising my goal to 1000... However my off the boards goal is to workout 6 times a week which I've done the past two weeks and have 2 more workouts this week to meet it, so I might just make that my new goal)

Yesterday 15 min core with stability ball situps
Today 75 min hike and core with stability ball situps

New total 1080/1200

Forgot to post yesterday...an hour on the treadmill and an hour WERQ class. Today's workout was an hour WERQ class and an hour YogaFit class which brings me to:

Thanks Pluto.... I was... until I decided that the yoga dvd I was goign to try was a jillian michaels one. Apparently, she and I don't get along well. Or rather, she and my knees. My GOOD knee is hurting today, so I might have to postpone my planned run which is REALLY going to throw me off track to get my three runs in this week.

But I will get my minutes in even if it means I have to do situps and bicep curls for an hour...lol

Hang in there with your own pain....

I get ya. ::yes:: I never can decide if I love her or just get supremely annoyed by her. :confused3

Went and got the K-T tape last night and going to try it over the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed!:worship: I found a link to this on active.com and thought it was rather ironic I found it today of all days:

"For an injured runner, the hardest part of recovery is all mental. Strip the miles from a runner and she feels half naked - half of herself. A shell. The mentality a runner has and maintains through her recovery will either make her stronger or cripple her."

I think keeping this in mind will make my race day decision just a little bit easier to live with if I have to cancel. Sometimes you get a good shot perspective when you least expect it...:goodvibes
