3/13 - 40 min Wii (tennis, boxing, fit) <--- I ONLY did this to be able to report time to y'all, so signing up here makes me feel accountable to someone and inspires me when I might otherwise be lazy. Thanks Guys!

. But the "snow" was too hard and I couldn't get my boot in enough to get traction. Sliding around even more, I thought, instead of falling while holding a ski, I should just slide down on my butt. (hubby is patiently waiting for me at the bottom, watching all of this helplessly).
45 mins on crosstrainer brings me to
730/1000
Think I will be 3/4 of the way to my goal by 1/2 of the way through the month!
Maybe I should reset my goal... To 1300?
Yesterday was a work day so only got 15 min core and YEAH new stability ball so did my situps.

have fun! and glad you got a new stability ball... reminds me of the Office episode where Dwight has the "fitness orb" and Jim pops it

60 mins cross training for me today, in the form of downhill skiing - I mean, sliding on my butt.
What an awful skiing job I did today, ha! I tried to ski runs too hard for me - bad, bad girl. It was also icy conditions, which doesn't help.
I had a semi-controlled fall halfway down a face, which I thought wouldn't be too bad, but then my ski popped off. So once I stopped sliding, I looked around for my stuff and noticed my ski running away, down the icy mountain... down, down, down... so I got up, took off my other ski and thought to walk down instead of ski on one foot. But the "snow" was too hard and I couldn't get my boot in enough to get traction. Sliding around even more, I thought, instead of falling while holding a ski, I should just slide down on my butt. (hubby is patiently waiting for me at the bottom, watching all of this helplessly).
So, on my butt I go, ski in the lap. Excellent. Sliding down, slow at first and then faster... faster... except... I can't really stop. So PAST my other ski I go. I tossed my other ski away, rolled over on my stomach and dug my toe in and eventually stopped, now with snow all up my shirt... hiked up (easier than down!) and now have both skis and poles. But now I have to get them ON. And I think you know how the rest goes.
It ends with me FINALLY getting the skis on five minutes later, but not noticing my boot is totally loose, continuing the run only to perform the same gymnastics only a few hundred feet later. My husband is so sweet and patient...
I sat out the next few runs and thought about some of my life choices![]()
Gravity and I just don't get along so well sometimes.

I cannot remember my total so hopefully mrsdrake can help me out!
That was quite an amazing ski story!!! Oh, I also have a new running tip to share later when I'm more awake.

And THAT is why I don't ski!Gravity and I just don't get along so well sometimes.
