Marching into March: Exercise Challenge!

60 minutes of a kettlebell and abs class over lunch. New total:

170/1000

Happy Tuesday, everyone! :upsidedow

Thanks - I've been GF for 3 years now. We are in a temporary living situation sharing a house with gluten eaters :) so it's been kind of hard to control my exposure levels. Stil, it's temporary, so I am looking forward to getting our own space again.

It makes me that much more grateful on days when I am healthy, and I think I've learned a lot from the process - definitely a mental stamina test when I really don't want to get out of the bed, but I know working out will make me feel better.

I'm guessing you're GF? What is your favorite remedy - my hubs found out that eating a banana is better than pepto :)
Uggh, I can't imagine living with gluten eaters again. When my DS is home from school he is very careful, but one time I set my peanut butter spoon down on his plate and ended up eating bread crumbs. Fun, fun, fun. It really was a good thing, because he saw first hand how easy it was for me to get sick.

I have the opposite problem of a lot of people--when I get glutened nothing moves for days and I end up with really bad stomach aches and just feel cruddy (if you catch what I mean). I often end up not eating for a couple of days. If it is really bad I will drink prune juice, but I then can't leave the house because my stomach is so uncomfortable. I also have to deal with the brain fog, etc. I have been g-f since Feb 2011. I am uber careful, because it just takes days to feel better. And I totally agree, working out does make me feel better too. :)

Feel better soon!

45 minutes elliptical tonight and 27 minutes weight training. I'm back! WOOOHOOO!

117/1400

45 minutes of weights and stretching
15 bonus minutes- I was getting ready for 1 hour of cardio kickboxing but I only lasted 15 minutes and had to bow out because my shins hurt too much during a running side punch.

540/1250

I am going to swim tomorrow. Wish me luck. Bring on the ice.

3/3 10 minutes weight
3/4 10 minutes weights
3/5 35 minutes treadmill and 25 minutes bike

150/1500 (i think thats my goal lol)

I missed yesterday and didn't post my time, sorry!
3/4- short run (30 minutes) and weights (30 minutes)
3/5- long run day (90 minutes)
Total: 330/1600

An hour WERQ class and 15 minutes on the treadmill bring me to:

375/2013 :upsidedow I've shoveled three times already today...but am not counting it...guess it's my added bonus for the day.

I don't have minutes to report yet but I did finally register for the 5k at our local marathon weekend. So now I have no excuses to not keep up with my running! I'm hopefully going to be running for girls on the run organization so that should be extra motivation! And dh is going to attempt with me-his first race!

35 in the elliptical and 5 stretching because I think I reeked something while running last night...

315/1000

OK, it was only five minutes worth at lowest resistance, but that knee moves all the way around just fine!

So for today...

5 stationary bike
15 weight training
12 core workout

173/600

I'm orange!

Ok I have really slacked the last 2 days, Monday I had meetings and got home late and yesterday I spent most of the day with my DD at the hospital getting some tests done. So today I have to get something done!

I did a 30 minute cardio class and 30 minutes on the eliptical which bring me to:

230/1000!

My boyfriend and I just signed up for the Color Me Rad 5k in May where we live, and we're super excited! It looks like fun! We both like to run, but I've definitely been slacking lately. I'll have to get back into a regular routine soon.

Happy Wednesday! Half way to the weekend! :woohoo:
