Hi,
First post and first trip so please be kind to me!
Loads of questions for a firsttime visitor and thanks to everyone who's ever posted a question or reply in the past as I've already had a huge number answered just by looking. Unfortunately I've still got a few left.
We have booked to fly to CDG with Easyjet on March 9th next year for 4 nights. Going will be myself, my wife and my 20 month old son.
We arrive in Terminal 3 at CDG and the best option so far appears to be the 34 shared minibus offered by Easyjet to take us direct to our hotel. The TGV would have been a good option but train times appear not to work in our favour. Also does anyone know how far it is from T3 to T2 to catch the train?
Shepherding my family and luggage across a busy airport doesn't sound like fun. Has anyone done it successfully?
We're (provisionally) booked into the Dream Castle Hotel as they had availability for a reasonable price. The most suitable option for us in the Disney hotels would be the Sequoia lodge as I have heard several good reviews and the opportunity to be 'onsite' is very appealing. At the moment their is an offer of 4 nights for the price of 3. If I wait until closer to the time am I more likely to get a better deal than this?
I've read elsewhere about asking for rooms without park-tickets. As we'd want to spend at least on of our four days (travelling back early on the last day) I feel we might save by doing this. However, would this also mean the 4 for 3 offer disappears also?
If we do stop in a Disney hotel I've heard about being able to check-in at the station and our bags would be transferred to the hotel allowing us to walk around until we would be able to check-in later. Am I corerct in this?
Anyone who can point me in the direction of the cheapest booking options for four nights in the Sequoia would be thanked forever more
How has anyone found using the Dream Castle as a base for other 'non-Disney' things such as a trip into Paris or the shopping village? As we'd be without a car it seems most trips would involve a courtesy bus to the Disney station. When there was just two of us that wasn't a problem. But the addition of DS suddenly makes everything slightly more complicated.
At the moment I know I'm more excited than my DS but seeing his face in such a magical environment will be priceless.
Many thanks in advance,
Dave
