So...I am a regular at DLP but I have not been to florida in about 14 years, so this is my first time during adultish life (last time i was 16 but was still holidaying with parents).

This time my OH and I are going in March for 10 days!! Eeek! (OH has never been to USA before). Long story short, we were planning to go for our Honeymoon in Sept/Oct 2016 (Still will) but my parents have just bought a villa in Orlando and have said 'oh come out with us in march you just need to pay for your flights as we will be staying there too' well was rude not to!

So..i need help and advice. We arent going to be able to go mad and do all the parks due to budget but we would definitely like to do some for a few days.
I need help with Disney World tickets? We only want a couple of days in maybe 2 different parks, no water parks, just magic kingdom and 1 other which we havent decided but being in the UK i am not sure on prices or what ticket would be best??

Also, with this new app and fast pass+ etc if im not staying in disney resort can i still take advantage of this if i wont have magic bands? Will i be able to book reservations and fast pass if i buy tickets through another supplier, not disney?

Thats all the questions I can think of at the moment but I am sure more will come along as im looking into things more and more. Thanks in advance.

:cool1: The countdown begins!!

If you want a 2 day ticket you won't find many if any deals for 2 days. The tickets will run $205 for two days and that does not include the tax

As for FP+ you will have to link your tickets- and yes you can buy tickets from a supplier- to you MDE acct in order to make FP+ reservation. If you are not staying onsite you can only make FP+ reservations 30 prior to your arrival unlike those who stay onsite who get to make them 60 days prior to their arrival.

Ok thank you for response, will have to look into tickets more I guess and decide what we are going to do. Can we book restart ants on the app too like fast pass?

You can book restaurants like anyone else through the site at 180 days out.

The second park you want to do will depend on what you want in a park.

- Animal Kingdom is great if you want to see animals in spacious, well-maintained habitats. They have a decent number of rides and are often one of the lowest crowd parks of the four. Star attractions are Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids, as well as Kilimanjaro Safari. This park closes early to accommodate the animals.
- EPCOT is a pretty classic park to go to. It includes a World Showcase to give you a slice of tourism from many different countries, including souvenirs, food, drinks, and entertainment. It also has futuristic/technological aspects near the front of the park. Star attractions include Soarin and Test Track. EPCOT is also a typical adult favorite because of the wide variety of alcoholic beverages available, some of which you can get tasting portions of within the individual pavilions.
- Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM) caters more to shows and street interactions than the other parks. It still has rides: the popular Toy Story Mania is constantly booked, and there are the tried and true classics of Tower of Terror and Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster. If you are a fan of Frozen, HS has been offering the largest amount of Frozen-themed activities lately, although who knows what may change by March next year? Fans of Walt also love One Man's Dream, which is a tribute and history lesson all in one.

If it were me personally, I would probably go to EPCOT or HS, as those are quite classic parks. EPCOT in particular is a park with history that Walt had high hopes for when he began it.

I'm not sure what an OH is, but it doesn't look like you have kids with you. If you do, that might change what you want to accomplish in a park. As far as tickets go, please be careful when not buying directly from Disney or through an approved travel agent. You might save some money, or you might get ripped off. Buying tickets independently gives you no disadvantage to people who buy JUST tickets from Disney so long as the tickets are legitimate. Since you need to be able to hook them up to your MDE, if they are not legitimate you'll find out pretty quickly. Disney will be less or even totally unable to help you if you didn't buy from them directly and there is a problem. Some people might be able to help you find reliable sources. I personally always just buy from Disney directly, but then I also stay on property.
