We are looking at going the end of march or sometime in April.. would anyone know when is the best time to avoid high crowds? I am always a jan or feb trip person, but we always miss HM or something good like that, so this year we want to wait a few more months... TIA
Lisa

First, let me say:
:cool1: :cool1: :welcome: :cool1: :cool1:

Welcome to the Disneyland Board family (yes, we are a family). :grouphug:

The best time to go during March or April is either:
a) As early as possible in March
b) As late as possible in April

The rest of the two months are dominated by Spring Break crowds. :crowded:

I went to DLR last March 11-13 and it was amazing. I have never been to DLR with so few lines. I took pictures it was so amazing. Now, I normally go during off times. I went during my spring break at ASU.

I second this...we went March 12-16 last year and it was perfect! We had just beat the spring break crowds.

We went on Easter weekend two years ago. If you like crowds, go on the weekend, if you don't, avoid it like the plague. We knew it would be crowded, but I was not prepared for Fri. and Sat. nights with all of the locals too. Sunday evening was a breath of fresh air as many people obviously had to head back to work for the next day. We traveled on Monday, so spent all of Easter Sunday in the park. The crowds thinned tremendously by 7:00pm and the rest of the evening was very nice!

We went March 24th-28th this year, but because Easter was so early, this was the day after Easter. Therefore, many people were on spring break. We had never been before, and didn't know what to expect, really, but we didn't expect crowds so bad by mid-day that the best pace you could do in Adventureland was a slow penguin shuffle. When we got back, we saw some statistics that showed that the crowd levels the week we were there were record-breaking, packed, ridiculous. And this was Mon-Thursday! :scared1: I have vowed never to try going during spring break again! I agree with PP above, either first week in March or last week in April.

thanks! I think I will be looking at the first week of March! Where do I go to view the Park hours?
